This time, they didn’t lie

ys2015_0216_5315

We often have snow storm alerts, but they always end up resulting in heavy ice storms. This time, they didn’t lie. It was not a blizzard, but there was enough snow for them to get outside and enjoy forming and throwing snowballs. Usually, the snow just covers the ground and one scrape brings up snow and dirt.

We enjoyed being snowbound for a few days, but after a while, it got real old. We didn’t necessarily have anywhere to go, but knowing the snow was cancelling a lot of expected plans, was a real bummer. I also had to make a quick food run after the first round of snow. I can’t imagine regularly living like that during months throughout the year. I think our snow fix has been filled for a while.
