We had the opportunity to review physical products of The Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil Facial Cleanser; Manuka Honey, Tamarind and Manuka Oil Facial Toner; Manuka Honey Propolis Soap and Skin Clear Cream by Koru Naturals.
I have to first say, although you may want to, you may not eat the items you receive in your Koru Naturals delivery. The reason I make that point is because the items they make smell absolutely delicious. I am sure it has something to do with the ingredients in their products. When I opened the box to reveal my goodies, it was the most beautiful aroma.
Koru Naturals has always been extremely generous with their review products and this time I received Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil Facial Cleanser; Manuka Honey, Tamarind and Manuka Oil Facial Toner; Manuka Honey Propolis Soap and Skin Clear Cream to review. Each product comes in well-designed containers that would be great for individual gift giving (I am thinking Christmas).
Koru Naturals is a New Zealand-based company that makes a variety of natural substance products using ingredients like manuka honey, tree tea and rosehip oil. The company also ensures no animal testing is involved in the making of the products they sell. That is a big plus.
I was really looking forward to using the facial products, because, over the years, my skin does not sparkle as it once did. Does skin sparkle? I have not taken as good care of my face, besides the regular washing when showing or taking a bath. I do not have wrinkles, but I can tell the texture of my skin is not as smooth as it was years ago. I was hoping the Facial Cleanser; Facial Toner and Skin Clear Cream would help bring life back to my skin.
The Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil Facial Cleanser Gel is a gentle cleanser that offers deep cleaning action. If you like avoiding artificial colors (yes, they are in a lot of basic products), then this is the cleanser for you. It is not only void of artificial colors, but also without parabens. You may use this cleanser independently, but following with the Manuka Honey, Tamarind and Manuka Oil Facial Toner only seems natural.
The artificial Manuka Honey, Tamarind and Manuka Oil Facial Toner is for all skin types from sensitive to acned. It is to follow the use of the Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil Facial Cleanser Gel.
The Skin Clear Crème is suggested for use on acne-prone skin, but is also for people who want a day and night crème for skin protection. The crème is smooth and spreads well, so it will last you a while. There is no need to use a lot, which is good, because of the higher price and the suggestion of using it 
at least twice a day.
The Manuka Honey Propolos Soap is pretty and smells of so good. I almost hated using it, because of the reshaping from the original bar after use. I moved past that and just enjoyed the fragrant smell while showering.
I used the facial cleanser and followed with the facial toner. After that, I finished with the Skin Clear Crème. I used the Propolos Soap while in the shower. I never found time for a leisurely bath.
Koru Naturals lists the ingredients for all of its products on its website. Although there are a few chemicals used in a few of their items (ex: Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate – foaming agent and emulsifier), there are not many. When compared to many other products on the market, Koru Naturals appears to choose safer chemical options for achieving the same result that a more damaging chemical would create. Honey is also used heavily in their products, which makes me so glad I am not allergic. I love the products I was able to use everything.
Overall, I felt good after using the products. I only had a little over one month to review the items, so seeing a significant change was not very obvious. I will say my skin felt better and I felt good about making an effort to improve the way I care for my skin. Using products like the ones available
from Koru Naturals are ones I feel comfortable using and I will continue with the hope of seeing more results over the next couple of months.
